Mark Lin

Mark Lin, the Principal Sports Podiatrist and Director for The Footwork Clinic, spent much of his childhood playing representative basketball in Auckland.

During this time, Mark sustained numerous foot and ankle injuries that made him appreciate the importance of managing and preventing such condition.

Now a father, who is still active in social basketball and running, he understands more than most about the impact that such injuries can have on an active lifestyle. Today in his current role at The Footwork Clinic, he uses the injury experience he once had to help others find relief.

Mark Lin realises that staying healthy and active are keys to maintain lifestyle and developed the passion for improving life quality through podiatry.

Since graduating from a Diploma of Fitness Training and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science of Podiatry, Mark has developed to a highly trained Sports Podiatrist who specialises in the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions of the lower limbs.

While working in Darwin, Mt Isa and Perth, he was able to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of bio-mechanics/sports podiatry. He has since become the first Podiatrist in Australia to qualify in Trigenics® in the lower body which is a revolutionary treatment in musculoskeletal care that restores strength and movement to patients.

This and other treatments provided by Mark Lin have successfully healed foot, ankle and leg injuries that have put a strain on patient’s quality of life. With his and Wei Lee’s combined skills, injuries and other complex cases that were thought to be permanent or untreatable, can and have been reversed or eased with their unique treatment techniques.

Mark works tirelessly to, not only remain physically fit and active, but to also continue developing as a professional. As a former athlete, he understands the impact leg, ankle and foot injuries can have on a person’s quality of life.

As a Podiatrists, he is dedicated to helping others optimise the health of his patient’s feet and legs, with the goal of improving their overall well-being.
